This is one of the most awkward things we have had to endure since the dawning of sexually explicit TV. Such situations often involve an uncomfortable silence followed by a dismissive or patronizing comment from the parents. Some might take the initiative to change the channel or co-incidentally leave for a cup of tea. However sometimes the situation is progressively passive and the silence just drags out, with any thought of eye contact completely out of the question.
