That moment of shame when an automatic door doesn't open for you

Ever been frustrated because an 'automatic door' didn't open for you? It can be rather annoying, even when you take the notion to stop yourself from walking into it. Waiting to be registered as a human being isn't the ideal situation. It's as if the door is waiting for something, like a secret password, or a "good afternoon". It seems almost intentional sometimes, especially when you're in a rush. If doors have a mind of their own, we might as well face it - doors can be stupid.
